My earliest memories of creating art take me back to the dining room table, surrounded by my mom and siblings. Even though each of us had our own project to work on, my mom always took the time to guide us, fostering an atmosphere of curiosity and discovery. It was our very own little artist collective. Fast forward to today, and my siblings and I have chosen paths in different art fields, yet we continue to exchange creative ideas with each other. For my sister and I, the joy of learning has been a lifelong pursuit, and we both now have the privilege of sharing this passion with others as art educators. My two daughters help me carry on the tradition of making art around the dining room table.
