Radial Perspective

The project focused on teaching students how to master the art of drawing radial perspective. They were encouraged to envision themselves in a city of their own creation, gazing upwards at the surrounding buildings. While it presented its challenges and some students opted to begin anew, their perseverance ultimately yielded rewarding results. I am truly impressed by the diverse array of interpretations showcased by the students.

Alebrijes

The students were captivated by the vibrant Mexican folk art animals featured in a short documentary. Delving into the captivating history of these creatures, the children discovered the fascinating evolution from intimidating figures to beloved symbols of positivity. Inspired by the documentary, they enthusiastically sketched and painted their own interpretations of Alebrijes. Now, they are eagerly beginning the process of sculpting their creations using model magic.
